Pontardawe RFC Under 12’s won the Afan Nedd Cup in an exciting and well contested match against a physical Britton Ferry side at the Gnoll on the 8th March

 A try in the first half by flanker Joe Rees-Weldon saw Ponty take a 7-0 after it was converted by outside half Rhys Dix. The second half was pretty much more of the same from Ponty who added another try to the scoreboard, courtesy of Number 8 Lewis Walker. This was also converted by the boot of Dix. This was the final nail in the coffin as Pontardawe run our victors 14-0. 

Well done and congratulations to the players, coaching staff, active parents and to the many supporters who cheered the boys to victory on the day. Lets hope this is the start of something special!. Well done Lads from all at Pontardawe RFC.
