This years Derek Morris Memorial Match will be held this Saturday at 2:30pm at Pontardawe Leisure centre. Last years Match saw the Present Ponty XV run out victorious against a Past Ponty XV in what was a fun but bruising encounter.

Last years event was a total success, which just opimises the phrase "rugby family". Both past and present players, from various local clubs, laced up their boots to show their respect towards Derek, who was well known and respected not only by those of Pontardawe RFC, but by the rugby community as a whole. We hope to emulate that success this year, so we ask that all those interested in playing or being a part of this fantastic event to  make themselves known through this wonderful world of social media.

Itinerary for the day

1pm Players to meet at the Leisure centre

2:30pm Kick Off. 3x 20minute periods.

5pm Entertainment at the clubhouse. Trophy presentation, Raffle, Brave the Shave , Ospreys Choir.

7pm Live Music From "The Boffs"
